About the Role:

The Northern Adelaide Local Health Network is seeking a passionate Occupational Therapist to embark on an exciting role within our Allied Health Division. The Northern Adelaide Local Health Network (NALHN) is a leading provider of public healthcare services in South Australia.

As an Occupational Therapist, you will play a vital role in assessing, planning and implementing therapeutic interventions to assist individuals in achieving their highest level of independence and quality of life. You will work closely with a multidisciplinary team, utilising your expertise in functional assessments, rehabilitation and adaptive equipment recommendations to empower patients and facilitate their recovery process.
Key Responsibilities:

  • conduct comprehensive occupational therapy assessments and develop individualised treatment plans
  • collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure holistic patient care
  • educate patients and caregivers on techniques for managing daily activities and promoting independence
  • provide guidance on the use of assistive devices and environmental modifications
  • participate in ongoing professional development and contribute to the advancement of occupational therapy practices

To be eligible for this position, you must hold an appropriate Degree or equivalent qualification which entitles registration as an Occupational Therapist with the Occupational Therapy Board of Australia.
