Ongoing full-time vacancy.
The Case Manager, Medium to Low Risk is accountable to a Team Leader, Injury Management for coordinating and case managing a range of medium to low risk claims that comply with the Return To Work Act 2014, Additional Compensation under the Police Officers Award and other relevant legislation SAPOL’s Injury and Absence Management policies, performance standards, practice notes and other requirements for self-Insured employers within the Crown.
Under limited supervision of the Team Leader, the role will manage medium to low risk physical injury and psychological injury claims within administrative requirements and guidelines, participate in the resolution of disputes and contribute to the development, maintenance and innovative approach to claims and compensation systems, practices, policies and procedures.
The role works in close partnership with managers, employees and their representatives to assess, determine, negotiate and advise on claims and compensation services that take into consideration case law and scheme costs.

- The incumbent must hold a current Australian work eligibility status and will be subject to a criminal history check.
- The incumbent may be assigned to other duties at this remuneration level or equivalent.
- Some out of hours work and intra/interstate travel may be required.
- The incumbent is required to participate in SAPOL’s iEngage program.
Desirable Characteristics
Tertiary qualifications relevant to Injury Management, Rehabilitation or Human Resources or other relevant qualifications.
Salary
ASO5 - $85,790 - $95,413 per annum.
