About the Role
This is a OO2 progression position as per the Role Description. The successful applicant will be appointed to the OO2 classification with eligibility for progression to the OO3 level once specific criteria have been met. Please note salary rate shown is reflective of OO2 to OO3 classification range.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Demonstrated ability to understand the work environment of a school, along with an awareness of the need for security in relation to buildings, access, personal property and equipment
- Knowledge of and ability to apply workplace health and safety standards especially on the use, application and storage of petrol, LP gas, insecticides, herbicides, fertilizers and chemicals also safe operating procedure for garden and maintenance equipment and tools. Knowledge of other legislation relevant to the undertakings of the role.
- Ability to develop positive working relationships with team members; actively listen to colleagues liaising and establishing good working relationships with departmental staff, outside providers and contractors to implement and maintain grounds and/or facility operational management and provide services relevant to the operations of school.

- You will be a strong communicator, great time management, previous experience relevant to the role.
