We are seeking a Senior Specialist Enterprise Agreement Implementation & Change candidate to work as part of our Enterprise Agreement (EA) team and the wider People & Culture division. This full-time, 12 month fixed-term position is based at Doncaster. While WFH/Hybrid options are accessible and available to all employees, it is essential that the successful applicant maintains a presence at our Doncaster headquarters in line with our hybrid working model.
About the role
Reporting to the Senior Lead Enterprise Agreements, this role will provide leadership and specialist expertise to deliver key outcomes of administrative role review process aligned with the newly implemented Ambulance Victoria Enterprise Agreement 2024 (AVEA 2024), effectively managing outcomes and objectives while strategically collaborating with internal and external stakeholders. Responsibilities include but not limited to:
- Lead and manage the end-to-end Administrative Employee Role Review Process in accordance with the Ambulance Victoria Enterprise Agreement 2024 (AVEA 2024) Memorandum of Understanding (MoU)
- Design and execute relevant plans, methodologies and processes to manage and deliver role review process outcomes within prescribed timeframes, and in accordance with policies, procedures and industrial and legislative provisions in alignment with long term organisational strategic goals
- Undertake associated position classification reviews, working collaboratively with key stakeholders, and operating within established classification, remuneration and associated policies, procedures and frameworks
- Lead, manage and coordinate the dispute resolution process as described in the AVEA 2024 MoU, representing AV on the Independent Dispute Resolution Panel to determine role review dispute application outcomes
- Identify and manage interfaces, dependencies and risks, ensuring appropriate people services controls are considered and assessed and compliance with regulatory and legislative requirements
- Build strong working relationships with staff and senior management across all areas of the organisation
About you
The ideal candidate will have postgraduate degree or relevant industry certification with extensive relevant experience, or an equivalent combination of training and high level relevant experience. Additional requirements include but not limited to:
- Experience driving the execution of programs against regulatory and compliance frameworks and the design, use and deployment of project and change management methodologies
- Expertise and strong working knowledge of HR & IR principles, practices, concepts and frameworks
- Experience in position analysis and design and conducting job evaluations using a prescribed methodology
- Demonstrated experience influencing, negotiating and collaborating constructively with a diverse range of stakeholders (internal and external) to deliver high quality advice and solutions
- Strong conceptual, analytical, and problem-solving skills to enable the identification of issues, analysis of options and the judgement to determine appropriate courses of action
- Demonstrated high-level communication, interpersonal and relationship building skills
- Proven experience in resolution management with employee representative bodies (desirable)
- Understanding of and experience in classification structure design work (desirable)
