We are seeking a Warehouse Manager to join our team. The position is full-time and based out of our Mulwala, NSW, location with an employer who values your team and solution driven mindset. You will need to be a confident detail-oriented individual ready to thrive in a busy setting.

Qualifications:

  • Certificate in Supply Chains Operations (Warehouse Operations) advantageous or prepared to study
  • Construction Induction Card (White card)
  • Current Drivers Licence
  • Current Forklift Licence

Skills required:

  • Prior experience in a warehouse management role advantageous
  • Advanced computer literacy and Microsoft Skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent numeracy skills
  • Proven organisational skills with the ability to prioritise workloads effectively
  • Ability to follow and drive for procedure improvements & efficiencies
  • A positive and solution driven mindset
  • Strong work ethic and the willingness to help others and work within a team
  • Personal pride in the quality of your work and strong attention to detail
  • Confidence to work independently
  • Ability to meet required deadlines
  • A good understanding of the building/manufacturing industry (desirable but not essential)
  • Experience with Datapel, desirable

Responsibilities:

  • Facilitate the day to day warehouse operations of both our Mulwala and Bendigo facilities.
  • Manage the delivery of incoming goods, ensuring they are per order with no damage and report all short and incorrect deliveries
  • Ensure all building materials are complete and delivered to the jobs inline with the construction schedule activities or as directed by the Construction Supervisor to ensure job readiness
  • Track orders and ensure delivery within required timeframe.
  • Raising of purchase orders when required.
  • Authorise supplier invoices for payment which relate to materials
  • Coordinate supplier negotiations and agreements.
  • Ensure best possible purchase rates.
  • Ensure pricing and supplier related information is communicated to appropriate departments and maintained on systems.
  • Liaise and negotiate with suppliers and internal team members to resolve stock ordering issues.
  • Oversee supplier performance and agreements, product compliance, quality, and pricing.
  • Facilitate and maintain effective working relationships with suppliers in efforts to grow the business reputation and provide a good representation of the business.
  • Identify and manage supplier risks and opportunities, including those of the suppliers’ supply chains.
  • Support sourcing recommendations on behalf of the business.
  • Identify and implement cost mitigation strategies.
  • Tender for subcontractor and material supply across medium to large projects.
  • Undertake analytics and compile business insight reports.
  • Develop procurement/purchasing procedures and policies.
