Join our dynamic team within Treasury Advisory and Cash Management as an Accounts Management Officer, where you will be responsible for opening through to account closure and responding to ad hoc queries accurately and in timely manner. This role provides a unique opportunity to work with internal stakeholders and multiple banking institutions and platforms.
About the role
- Manage Perpetual Corporate Trust bank account opening and closure requests
- Manage and resolve all account/user/transaction related queries with all Perpetual Corporate Trust banking partners
- Manage user setups in various internal and external systems
- Maintain accurate records in internal systems; both electronic and paper-based format
- Build effective relationships with clients and act upon client instructions within required timeframes (SLAs)
- Respond to client enquiries relating to various services, financial products, fees and conditions
- Identify and mitigate risks and ensure compliance with legal and statutory requirements
- Use initiative, work with deadlines and perform tasks with high level of accuracy
- Communicate effectively on issues to Senior Management and ensure a proper and timely follow-up to ensure resolution
- Provide guidance, support, act as resource and assist team members from multiple operational areas.
About you
- Minimum 2-3 years' experience in Financial Services preferably in a similar role
- Previous experience with accounts administration including opening and closing bank accounts (highly desirable)
- Experience with online banking user administration (highly desirable)
- Experience with onboarding and offboarding clients (highly desirable)
- Knowledge of AML/KYC activities in the financial services industry is advantageous (highly desirable)
- Excellent client management skills and relationship management experience
- Experience with foreign currency transactions, global payment formatting, domestic banking platforms, RTGS, & debt directory exchange
- Knowledge of Privacy Act obligations, relevant industry codes and legislation.
