Are you a passionate Retail Marketing Coordinator looking for a role that combines creativity, strategy, and purpose? St Vincent de Paul Society (Vinnies) is seeking a dedicated professional to drive retail marketing initiatives across our Victorian stores.


About Us:


For over 170 years we have been in Victoria assisting people through the challenges of poverty and exclusion address suffering, advocating against inequality and promoting human dignity and self-determination. Overall, the group of companies of St Vincent de Paul Society Victoria has many arms and services. These include soup vans, education programs, home visitation programs and VincentCare Victoria, which provides a range of services and programs for people who are experiencing or at risk of homelessness and disadvantage. This includes crisis accommodation, drug and alcohol dependency programs, and housing.



About the Role


As a Retail Marketing Coordinator, you’ll play a key role in executing our retail marketing strategy, ensuring the success of in-store and online campaigns. From social media engagement to VIP loyalty programs, you’ll have the opportunity to make a real impact by driving brand awareness and increasing sales revenue.



Key Responsibilities



  • Implement and execute retail marketing campaigns across Vinnies shops.
  • Develop and manage digital content including social media and EDMs.
  • Engage with local communities supporting PR opportunities and store launches.
  • Work closely with internal teams and external agencies to enhance brand presence.
  • Create promotional materials and manage in-store marketing initiatives.
  • Track campaign success, monitor social media, and contribute to reporting.


About You


You have experience in a similar role, with a proven track record of implementing strategies to boost retail engagement. You are known for your responsiveness, approachability, and service-oriented mindset, you build strong relationships with key stakeholders to enhance digital campaigns and programs.


More specifically you will have;



  • Qualifications: A degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
  • Experience: 1-2 years in retail marketing, digital marketing, or a similar role.
  • Skills: Strong communication, creativity, attention to detail, and time management.
  • Tech-savvy: Proficiency in Canva (essential), Adobe Suite (preferred), and EDM platforms.
  • Passion: A genuine interest in working for a mission-driven organisation.
  • A valid driver’s licence is required for store visits.
