About the CompanyOur client is a reputable Pathology service provider, with a national presence within the Australian market. With a busy central laboratory based in a hospital in Darlinghurst and 25 clinics across metro Sydney and regional NSW.
About the Role
In your role in Medical Admin you will support the wider team with pathology billings, finance duties and medical administration.
- Answering a high volume of calls and assisting patients with their medical account enquiries
- Timely and accurate processing of payments
- Liaising with Medicare / DVA and Private Health Funds
- Generating accounts and associated reports
- Investigation and follow up of outstanding aged accounts
- Adhoc administration duties
This is a casual assignment, hours/days will vary. Availability and flexibility is needed.
About You
- Previous experience in Medical or Pathology Admin
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal
- The ability to work cooperatively in a team environment as well as autonomously
- Excellent customer service skills
- A keen eye for detail and exceptional accuracy
- Be based in Sydney with full working rights for Australia
- Ability to travel to Darlinghurst as parking is NOT provided
