- Installing, programming, and maintaining Industrial Control Systems
- Knowledge of safe work practices, including JSEA and SWMS.
- Trouble shooting and diagnosis of plant control system problems
- Undertake modifications and design initiatives on production equipment
- Maintain documentation for both electrical and automation systems
Working closely with our experienced engineer, the successful candidate is responsible of designing, programming, simulating, and testing control all automation systems for production within the G James facility, with additional skills and experience will include:
- Degree or other relevant qualification in Electrical and / or Controls Engineering
- Experienced in a similar role in a manufacturing environment
- Advance PLC knowledge preferable with Rockwell PLC / license
- Experience with Variable speed drives, servo motors and drives
- Experience with instrumentation, functional safety and AutoCAD would be highly regarded
- Current Driver’s License
- Knowledge about industrial networks
