HR Truck Driver – Toowoomba
Location: Toowoomba
Position: Casual
Remuneration: Award Pay Rate + Penalties + Superannuation
Boss Global Logistics Pty Ltd is seeking an experienced HR Truck Driver for our Toowoomba Depot. This is an exciting opportunity with the potential for an immediate start.
As part of our growing team, you will be responsible for delivering multiple consignments efficiently and professionally.
Good knowledge of Darling Downs and Southern Downs area, especially Toowoomba area.
The role involves working five days a week, beginning at approximately 06:00 am each day.
Key Responsibilities:
- Multi-drop deliveries and some tail lift deliveries with the use of an electric pallet jack (up to 25kg, with occasional items exceeding this weight).
- Sorting and organizing deliveries as directed.
- Loading/unloading trucks using a forklift.
- Performing general warehouse duties and repetitive manual handling tasks as required
- Maintaining a high level of customer service during deliveries.
Requirements:
- Minimum 2 years of experience with an open HR Class license or higher.
- In-depth knowledge of the Toowoomba area and surrounding regions.
- Physically fit and able to perform some manual tasks
- A proactive and positive attitude with strong attention to detail.
- Australian citizen/resident or full work rights. Efficient in English and well spoken
- Steel-capped boots. High-visibility vest to be supplied
- Strong customer service skills.
- Clear criminal and traffic history.
- References required
