The Role

Reporting to the Associate Director of Sales, the Business Development Executive works closely with the Corporate Sales and Meetings & Events teams to develop and expand client accounts in the corporate accommodation and meetings sectors. This role is responsible for assisting in the creation and execution of targeted sales strategies across various industry segments.

The Successful Business Development Manager Will Be Responsible For

  • Develop and implement sales strategies for corporate transient and meeting group business in collaboration with the Associate Director of Sales to achieve budgeted targets.
  • Maintain and grow relationships with corporate and meetings clients to drive retention, revenue, and market share.
  • Expand the sales pipeline by identifying new business opportunities in rooms and catering across domestic and international markets.
  • Proactively grow the Corporate-Local and SME account base through targeted prospecting and local market research.
  • Monitor corporate accommodation and meetings group performance against budget, identifying opportunities to optimize revenue and fill demand gaps.

Talent Profile

Ideally You Will Have

  • Experience within the Corporate, Meetings or Events market is highly advantageous.
  • Proven ability to research new client opportunities and take proactive steps to build awareness, initiate relationships and close sales.
  • Experience working in a fast-paced environment, with the ability to multi-task.
  • Strong communication skills with impeccable standards of personal presentation.
  • A Diploma or Bachelor Degree in Business Administration, Hospitality or Event Management is desirable but not essential.
