Curis Recruitment is proud to partner with this fantastic health service based in Central Australia (Northern Territory) to help them find a Child Health Nurse to join their team on an agency contract basis.
As the Child Health Nurse you will be working across two remote communities delivering vital healthcare services to children including conducting health assessments, administering vaccinations, and managing common paediatric conditions. Beyond clinical care, you will also educate families on health and nutrition, and advocate for the well-being of children.
Job Details

• 4-6 weeks agency contract
• Contracts available commencing within the next 2-4 weeks
• Up to $94.58 per hour AM rate plus other shift penalties plus 11.5% superannuation
• Fully furnished accommodation
• Return travel provided from within Australia

The Location
Central Australia, located in the Northern Territory, is known for its expansive desert landscapes, including the iconic Red Centre. Central Australia is a hub for unique wildlife and offers a blend of traditional Aboriginal culture with modern Australian life.

Visit Uluru-Kata Tjuta National Park : Explore the majestic Uluru (Ayers Rock) and Kata Tjuta (The Olgas). Take part in guided tours to learn about the cultural significance of these landmarks and enjoy stunning sunrises and sunsets.
Explore Kings Canyon : Hike the Rim Walk at Kings Canyon for breathtaking views of the canyon's rugged cliffs and rock formations. The walk offers a chance to see unique plant life and geological features.
Discover Alice Springs : Experience the vibrant town of Alice Springs, including attractions like the Alice Springs Desert Park, the Royal Flying Doctor Service, and the local art galleries showcasing Aboriginal art.

To be eligible you must:

• Have full AHPRA registration with no restrictions
• Relevant experience working in a child health settings, including prenatal, postnatal, and early childhood care.
• Experience with Indigenous communities is ideal
• Must hold a full driver’s license
• Have completed all core competencies including an up to date police check and WWCC
• Full drivers license
• Must have full Australian working rights (i.e., Australian Citizenship, Permanent Residency, a valid Working Visa, or New Zealand Citizenship)
