Connect Resources is a specialist blue-collar civil construction labour hire company with a strong presence in WA, QLD & NSW. We partner with some of Australia’s leading construction companies, supplying skilled labour to major infrastructure and civil projects.As we continue to expand, we are seeking an experienced and driven Group Commercial Manager. This role is ideal for a strategic thinker with a strong commercial mindset and excellent negotiation skills. This role will be based in Perth and will involve occasional travel to Sydney and Brisbane.
As our Group Commercial Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing commercial operations, negotiating contracts, identifying growth opportunities, and ensuring profitability.
Key Responsibilities:
-Develop and execute commercial strategies to drive revenue growth and market expansion.
-Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, clients, and partners.
-Provide regular financial reports, highlighting key metrics and cost-saving opportunities.
-Implement cost control measures to improve efficiency and profitability.
-Analyse market trends, competitors, and business performance to identify new opportunities.
-Manage budgets, forecasts, and financial reports to drive commercial success.
About you:
-A bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, business administration, or a related field.
-Experience within Australia’s mining, construction, or infrastructure sectors.
-Proficiency in financial forecasting, budgeting, and reporting, with the ability to drive commercial improvements.
- Willingness and ability to travel interstate regularly.
- Strong commercial acumen with a results-driven mindset.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and leadership skills.
