About the role:
Expression Australia is seeking experienced Auslan and English Interpreters to join our team on a part-time basis.
In this role, you will play a key role in facilitating communication within the community. You will deliver high quality Auslan/English interpreting both internally at Expression Australia and externally.
About you:
• Proficient in both Auslan and English, with excellent interpersonal skills
• Hold CPI or CI level accreditation with NAATI
• Current NDIS Worker Clearance, Working with Children Check and Current Drivers Licence
• In-depth understanding of the Deaf culture to ensure contextually accurate interpretations
• Exceptional time management and organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks
• Consistently prepared and present for all assignments
• Willing to contribute as part of a collaborative team to the development of interpreting services
• Located in Melbourne, Perth or Sydney, as you will need to attend our offices on a semi-regular basis.
