We are looking for motivated individuals who are able to proactively engage with stakeholders, unpack complexity and detail, and develop clear, creative and future-focused products in a dynamic environment.
The role requires you to influence others (10 direct reports), use your ability to think creatively, communicate complex concepts to support users of our products achieve the Department of Education, International's strategic objectives. Multiple positions available.
Your Role
- Lead strategically and be accountable for International Student Program student experience, safety and service delivery.
- Promote a culture of continuous improvement in the implementation of program delivery, ensuring a high level of management of outcomes, risks, issues and budget in line with governance.
- Undertake performance plans, recruitment and associated human resource activities for the Advisors, Student Services and the Temporary resident team staff.
- Manage the policies, procedures, contracts, relationships, finances and resources required to ensure a strong financial return, successful outcomes and compliance with all legislative requirements applicable to Temporary Resident Admissions Programs.
- Provide mentoring and coaching of team processes, methods and systems to drive outcomes in student application management and customer service.
- Establish, maintain and build an effective and positive team culture.
- Other suitable duties, consistent with the duties and responsibilities of the position as directed by the supervisor, the Director ISP.
- Strong leadership and ability to led a team.
- Flexibility to work across a number of priorities.
- High level writing and communication skills suited for government.
- Excellent attention to detail and coordination skills.
- Great at stakeholder engagement and negotiation.
- Innovative and collaborative.
- Strong understanding of the National Code and ESOS act.
