Description:
- Oversee and optimise end-to-end supply chain processes, including procurement, inventory management, warehouse operations, and logistics.
- Ensure timely and cost-effective acquisition, storage, and distribution of materials and parts.
- Maintain accuracy, compliance, and operational efficiency in supply chain activities.
- Lead a team of three warehouse staff and two office coordinators.
- Implement best practices and leverage technology for data-driven decision-making.
- Collaborate with suppliers, internal stakeholders, and logistics partners.
- Drive cost savings, improve supply chain resilience, and enhance service levels.
Requirements:
- At least three years of experience managing warehouse and operations in a manufacturing environment.
- Background in the truck, trailer, or heavy vehicle sector is highly advantageous.
- Preferably holds qualifications in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Procurement, or Business Administration (not essential).
- In-depth knowledge of warehouse management, inventory control, and optimal space utilisation.
- Demonstrated expertise in sourcing raw materials, components, and spare parts for manufacturing.
- Experience with both local and international procurement, including import regulations and logistics.
- Proven leadership in supervising warehouse and procurement teams.
- Strong ability to collaborate with sales, production, and finance teams to align supply chain functions with business objectives.
