An exciting opportunity for a Project Manager has become available working within a sought-after government department! With a high rate and contract length with potential to extend!
Your Role:
Your role as the Project Manager will be responsible for planning and overseeing the projects for Housing Portfolio.
You will use Housing Portfolio IT systems to plan, monitor and regularly report to stakeholders on the progress of the projects.
Your Duties:
- You will lead the design, briefing, resourcing, implementation and coordination of programs of work with the project team
- You will establish the approaches, systems, processes and practices for project reports and documentation for key project stakeholders
- You will lead and identify needs for research and provide project-driven direction and support for auditing policies, plans and procedures
- You will conduct tender management in compliance to Housing Portfolio Procurement policies and guidelines
- You will monitor project performance and implement risk mitigation strategies to manage delivery risks in consultation with the senior managers.
Your Desired Skills and Experience:
- Experienced Project Manager
- Housing/Government background and experience ideal
- Qualifications in Engineering, Architectural, Building, Surveying, Project/Business management or related construction discipline
- Experience in office and field work within housing
- Current NSW driver's licence
