Due to our growth into the Commercial and Fit Out Industry, we are expanding our team of professionals and are looking to appoint an experience Electrical/Communications Project Manager. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the planning, implementation, and tracking of electrical and communications projects from start to finish. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electrical practices, construction management and project management.

Key Responsibilities
You will be seeing through the delivery and management of Electrical and Communications projects inclusive of fitouts, office refurbishments, Building infrastructure upgrade and specialist electrical installations.
Project Planning & Execution
- Develop comprehensive project plans, including scope, schedule, and resource allocation.
- Coordinate with engineers, designers, and construction teams to ensure seamless project execution.
- Identify project risks and implement mitigation strategies to minimise delays and cost overruns.
- Ensure all electrical installations comply with design specifications, Australian Standards, and industry regulations.
Team Leadership & Management
- Supervise and support site managers, supervisors, electricians, and subcontractors.
- Assign tasks, set performance expectations, and monitor work progress to ensure efficiency.
- Provide training and mentorship to team members to develop their skills and knowledge.
- Promote a culture of teamwork, accountability, and continuous improvement.
Financial & Budget Management
- Prepare project budgets, forecasts, and financial reports to track costs and profitability.
- Manage procurement processes, including negotiating contracts and supplier agreements.
- Approve project-related expenditures and ensure cost-effective resource utilization.
- Identify opportunities for cost savings and process improvements.
Client & Stakeholder Engagement
- Act as the primary point of contact for clients, consultants, and key stakeholders.
- Conduct regular meetings to provide project updates, address concerns, and manage expectations.
- Build strong relationships with existing and potential clients to drive business growth.
- Ensure all contractual obligations and deliverables are met.
Safety & Compliance
- Ensure all work is carried out in accordance with Work Health & Safety (WHS) regulations and company safety policies.
- Conduct risk assessments and implement appropriate safety measures on-site.
- Monitor compliance with environmental and sustainability requirements.
Quality Assurance & Reporting
- Maintain high-quality standards in all aspects of project execution.
- Conduct regular inspections and audits to ensure compliance with industry best practices.
- Prepare and submit progress reports, financial reports, and documentation as required.
- Ensure project handovers and commissioning are completed successfully and on time.
Skills & Experience....
- Electrical Trade background and Electrical License (A Grade)
- 5+ years Electrical project management experience in construction and commercial sectors
- Experience managing medium to large scale projects an advantage.
- Demonstrate knowledge of electrical industry standards and safe work practises
- Be able to analyse and implement a project design from a customer perspective
- The ability to understand the customer needs into a technical solution.
- Proficiency in MS Office and Adobe Pro or Blubeam Revu
- Highly motivated, professional with excellent leadership and organisational skills
- Strong communication skills, written and verbal.
- Confidence in your analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Construction Induction Safety Certificate (White Card)
- NSW Full Driver's License
- CPR/LVR
