Salary: In line with the Enterprise Agreement and will be based on your years of experience (hourly base rate between $56.77-$58.68)

About the opportunity
The Special Care Nursery is a 15-bed Level 4 unit, providing exceptional family-focused care to for babies born from 32 weeks gestation. We are seeking motivated, experienced neonatal nurse to join our friendly, supportive team as a Care Coordinator!
● Provide advocacy, coordinate care and resources to support each family during throughout their admission to the Special Care Nursery and subsequent transition into the local community.
● Strong commitment to encouraging and facilitating breastfeeding opportunities.
● Be a part of a multi-disciplinary team where you can support, encourage and empower parents and families to be active participants in their infant's care.
● Liaise with neonatal hospital in the home, maternal and child health nursing team and other community supports to ensure optimal transition from hospital to home.
About you
● Registered with AHPRA as a Registered Nurse or Midwife
● A strong commitment to delivery of high quality family-centred care
● Highly developed interpersonal skills
● Recent experience caring for sick or premature neonates
● Post Graduate qualification in Special Care Nursery / Neonatal Intensive Care desirable
