Skilled and experienced Boilermakers wanted, to work on a variety of projects. As a Boilermaker, you will be responsible for performing specialized welding, fabrication, and maintenance tasks on a range of equipment, including pipework, hoppers, conveyors, pressure vessels, and more.
Key Responsibilities:
- Attend to customer and service inquiries with leading hand and Project Managers.
- Participate in toolbox meetings to ensure seamless project delivery.
- Conduct on-site steel fabrication assessments and perform specialised welding tasks, including MIG, TIG, and grinding of stainless steel products.
- Carry out routine maintenance, shutdown maintenance, and installation of pumps, filters, and process equipment components.
- Assemble tanks, hoppers, mixers, and pressure vessels, and perform fault-finding and repair tasks.
- Ability to work in overhead, flat, and vertical stances, and conduct welding operations safely and efficiently.
Requirements & what's on offer:
- Certificate III in Engineering and Fabrication.
- Specialized experience in stainless steel fabrication and installation of medium to heavy industrial applications and equipment.
- A meticulous and reliable approach to work, with excellent attention to detail.
- Career progression into a leading hand, estimation & project management.
- Learn to read 2D and 3D CAD drawings to ensure accurate measurements and precise fabrication as you grow in the job.
- Base rates are $40 per hour but increase regularly. $ 60 per hour for time & half, $80 double time. For example, a 12-hour day would be a $600 day. Full-time job so all the perks of being an employee - holiday, sick pay, plus 1 RDO a month.
