About the role:
We have an exciting, ongoing opportunity to work at Box Hill Institute as our Senior Placements Administrator . This position reports directly to the Placements Administration Manager, and sits within the Faculty of Health, Community & Life Sciences.
What you'll do:
- Undertake the full range of administrative activities to support student placements with employers.
- Negotiate and implement successful and compliant placement contracts
- Achieve student and employer satisfaction by providing effective placement administration management
- Responsible for all logistics , including placement bookings, documentation, communication with students and employers, student records, reporting and compliance documentation.
About you:

- Experience in working collaboratively and professionally as part of a team to achieve team goals , including excellent organisational skills and flexibility during peak periods
- Ability to prioritise competing deadlines.
- Proficient in all MS Office applications including but not limited to, generating letters, reports and database management.
- National Police Check clearance & Victorian WWCC
Qualifications and experience:
- Relevant vocational qualification highly regarded
- Experience in preparation of documents, record keeping and handling administrative enquiries.
- Ability to respond to internal and external client needs promptly and to follow through on inquiries, request, and complaints in a timely manner.
- Experience in working collaboratively as part of a team to achieve team goals, including excellent organisational skills, flexibility during peak periods, and ability to adapt to changing priorities is essential.
- High level of interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills, with demonstrated experience in preparing high quality, accurate correspondence and reports to stakeholders
