Senior Fashion Designer – Activewear, Swim, Contemporary Womenswear & AccessoriesFull-time | St Kilda, Melbourne
ALLFENIX is a fast-growing global activewear brand, and we’re looking for an experienced Senior Fashion Designer to join our team. This is a hands-on senior role where you’ll take ownership of the design process across activewear, swim, contemporary womenswear, and accessories. You’ll be responsible for driving design concepts, leading product development, and ensuring our collections stay ahead of trends. Key ResponsibilitiesDesign Leadership: Lead the development of seasonal collections, ensuring brand identity and commercial success.Product Development: Oversee the entire design process, from concept to final sample, across apparel and accessories.Graphic Design: Create t-shirt graphics and textile prints (strong graphic design and basic drawing skills required).Supplier & Production Management: Communicate daily with suppliers, ensuring quality and fit standards are met.Fittings & Construction: Work closely with the garment technician to refine fit, function, and performance.Trend & Market Research: Stay ahead of market trends, analysing customer demand and competitor positioning.Project & Team Management: Manage timelines, sampling, and workflow while collaborating with the team and Creative Director.
What We’re Looking ForWe need a highly experienced and driven Senior Fashion Designer with at least 7+ years of industry experience. This role requires someone with strong technical knowledge, creative vision, and the ability to execute designs at a high level.
What You’ll Bring7+ years of fashion design experience, with expertise in activewear, swim, contemporary womenswear, and accessories.A strong design eye and deep knowledge of garment and accessory construction, fabrics, trims, and hardware.Technical skills in Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, and Microsoft Excel.Graphic design skills with experience in t-shirt graphics and textile prints.A proactive, hands-on attitude—someone who thrives in a fast-paced, high-expectation environment.Strong leadership & decision-making skills, with the ability to work autonomously and drive results.Excellent organisation & time management, ensuring tight deadlines are met without compromising quality.Confident communication skills for supplier interactions and team collaboration.
