What you will do
As an occupational therapist at Western Plains, you will be part of a small, multidisciplinary team serving the people in our care with disabilities and complex needs.
You will focus on improving daily living skills, emotional regulation and social engagement.
You will:
* Assess and develop individualised occupational therapy plans to enhance functional skills and independence.
* Collaborate with other professionals to deliver coordinated care and intervention.
* Help create a therapeutic environment that encourages participation and skill development.
* Assist people in our care in preparing for transition by building daily living and coping skills.
* Contribute to service improvements and best practices in disability and rehabilitation care.
Eligibility
To apply, you will need to hold an approved degree in occupational therapy recognised for membership of ‘OT Australia – Australian Association of Occupational Therapists'.
You will also need to be registered as an occupational therapist with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).
