Are you passionate about fostering student engagement, building confidence, and promoting emotional wellbeing? The Paw Pals Program offers an exciting opportunity to work alongside our incredible therapy dogs, delivering life-changing Animal Assisted Educational (AAE) interventions!

In this dynamic role, the Paw Pals Operations Coordinator will lead the daily operations of the program, ensuring the highest standards of quality, safety, and alignment with our vision. You'll work hand-in-hand with an amazing team, including the Paw Pals Staffing Coordinator and Learning and Development Coordinator, to bring structured, goal-driven activities that inspire both academic growth and emotional resilience in students.

This is a Permanent Part-Time (30.4 hours per week) opportunity based in Maidstone within our Paw Pals Program, MacKillop Education and Engagement Programs. The position reports to the Education and Engagement Programs Director.

Key Selection Criteria:

To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • Develop and implement operational procedures and systems for the delivery of Paw Pals Animal Assisted Education (AAE) program.
  • Cultivate and maintain positive relationships with stakeholders, community partners, and funding bodies to support the goals and objectives of the strategic business plan.
  • Represent Paw Pals at meetings, events, and conferences to promote engagement and partnership opportunities.

You must have a:

  • Valid and current Driver’s Licence;
  • Satisfactory Criminal History Check (paid for by MacKillop);
  • Valid Employee Working with Children Check;
  • Valid and current NDIS Workers Screening Check (for risk assessed / client facing roles). MacKillop can assist successful candidates with their application.
