- At least 2+ years experience in a similar role with relevant experience;

To be successful in this role you must:
- As a Sous Chef you will be responsible for overseeing and directing the preparation and production of meals in the restaurant;
- Responsible for food preparation and production;
- Managing and coordinating food supply and stock ordering;
- Assisting the head chef in new menu production, and menu tasting;
- Ensuring effective stock purchasing and waste control;
- Assisting in the training and mentorship of junior and apprentice chefs;
- Oversee the writing and costing of all kitchen rosters via Tanda;
- Set high levels of work ethic standards by adopting a 'Hands On' management style;
- Produce all dishes to a consistent standard;
- Ensure all kitchen activities meet the organizational requirements for quality management, health and safety.
