Our client, a locally owned and operated business specialising in workplace safety solutions, is seeking a skilled and experienced Embroidery Machine Operator to join their dynamic team.They provide a wide range of products, including footwear, workwear, and personal protective equipment (PPE) for key sectors such as mining, construction, infrastructure, utilities, and manufacturing. Their services include tailored safety solutions, in-house embroidery, and expert advice, all supported by a dedicated team of specialists.
Location: Toowoomba.
Position: Full-time or Part-Time - you decide!! Monday to Friday with flexibility on start and finish times.
Salary: $65,000 + Super (depending on experience).
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate multi-head embroidery machines (6 & 8 head units) with precision and care.
- Prepare garments for embroidery, including hooping and framing.
- Utilize embroidery software such as Wilcom and Corel Draw to create custom designs.
- Embellish garments with logos, names, and designs based on customer specifications.
- Conduct thorough quality control checks on finished garments to ensure top-notch standards.
- Perform regular maintenance on embroidery machines and keep service logs up to date.
- Provide customer support for embroidery inquiries and order dispatch.
- Maintain and expand technical knowledge and skills to ensure professional standards are upheld.
- A minimum of 2 years' experience.
- Strong attention to detail and a good design sense.
- Reliable, friendly, and efficient, with a focus on high accuracy.
- Excellent organisational and time management skills.
- Proficiency with technology, especially embroidery software (Wilcom, Corel Draw).
- Ability to work well both independently and as part of a team.
- Commitment to Workplace Health & Safety guidelines.
- Punctual and able to follow established systems and processes.
