We are seeking a personable Internal Business Development Manager to join an Australian-owned and operated company with a strong workplace culture. Specialising in manufacturing innovative products for the heavy vehicle industry, this role is crucial in driving growth across Australian and international markets.With full product training provided, this position focuses on expanding business within the heavy vehicle and mining industries. You will close inbound leads, engage new clients through warm and cold calls, and leverage existing accounts to drive growth. This full-time role offers a competitive salary and generous commissions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients while identifying new sales opportunities.
- Proactively engage potential customers and schedule appointments for the business development team.
- Maintain accurate records using the company’s CRM system.
- Conduct market research and customer surveys as required.
- Proven experience in phone-based sales or customer service roles.
- Familiarity with Office 365 and CRM systems (preferred but not essential).
- Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- A proactive approach to engaging new clients and promoting the company’s innovative product range.
