As the Head of Marketing and Customer Relations , you will lead the marketing and customer relations team to deliver exceptional campaigns and service to ensure we are the communities first choice in childcare. You will manage the overall strategy and success of the marketing and communications plans including the development of our brand’s presence.

Key Responsibilities will include:

  • Manage all aspects of internal and external digital marketing, brand messaging, content marketing, social media management, event management, recruitment marketing and overall brand management.
  • Manage the marketing strategy and budget to establish goals and objectives for all marketing activity, track results and report on activity on a monthly basis to the Executive team.
  • Lead the execution of marketing plans and campaigns from concept to final analysis.
  • Ensure all marketing material, communications, and initiatives represent and give value to the brand and our Services.
  • Manage the company’s website and social media channels including Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn and email marketing platforms as well as paid search and paid digital marketing channels. With the aim to build brand awareness, enhance visibility, drive engagement and enquiries.
  • Develop, review and maintain marketing support procedures and tools to drive local community engagement, enquiries and brand awareness.
  • Closely monitor and manage external providers to ensure optimum performance and results are being achieved.
  • Monitor, measure and analyse the effectiveness of marketing initiatives as they relate to the overall company goals.
  • Oversee the customer journey and the nurturing of potential families from enquiry to enrolment and support the customer relations team in driving the best customer experience.
  • Work with the People and Culture team to Identify opportunities in the market to promote and publicise recruitment opportunities and increase brand awareness of Sparrow as an Employer of Choice.

What you’ll need :

  • Tertiary qualifications in Marketing or Communications.
  • Minimum 10 years experience in a marketing management role.
  • Experience in paid digital advertising and social media scheduling platforms.
  • Ability to write, edit and proof engaging and on brand copy for social media, website and other forms of communication as required.
  • Strong communication, collaboration and influencing skills are essential; ability to create rapport and empathy towards inspiring a positive culture.
  • The ability to think strategically and execute with precision and attention to detail.
  • Extensive experience in multi-channel marketing.
  • Demonstrated experience in project and campaign management, from objectives and briefing to strategic evaluation, stakeholder management, production, and measurement.
