Description:
We are require an experienced receptionist and lead for a small team. Come and join our very busy and dynamic podiatry clinic. This is a busy position and does not involve just sitting at a desk all day. You must be a can do person, and be able to multi task. Reception, shoes sales and ordering, sterilisation, and 'micro management' is required.
Duties and Responsibilities include but not limited to:
- Opening and closing business
- Meet and greet patients
- A very busy phone
- Data entry
- Invoicing
- Accounts payable and receivable
- Electronic management of patient and podiatrist appointments
- Sterilisation of instruments
- Patient billing using HICAPS, EFTPOS, DVA and Medicare
- PRODA experience beneficial
- Cleaning of clinic and office
- Stock control

- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Strong work-ethic, must be reliable and punctual
- Multi-tasker
- Previous medical receptionist or accounts clerk experience of two years or more would be highly desirable
- Experience with medical or health software would be highly desirable
- Proficient in Excel, Outlook and Word
- Current Police Check required
- Available monday to wednesday at the Gympie podiatry clinic between 8am to 5.30pm. The position is for 3 days per week. Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday.
