Hotel Hinchinbrook is seeking a Chef/Cook with a passion for great food.
This amazing opportunity exists to join a close knit team at a busy, fast paced pub bistro with a friendly, passionate team who present amazing food to both locals and tourists alike.
Qualifications & experience
- Previous cooking experience
- Demonstrated ability to implement & maintain safe, hygienic work practices
- Ability to multitask, prioritise & work in a fast paced environment
- Must be available to work afternoon/evening shifts
Tasks & responsibilities
- Supporting our head chef with professional kitchen operations when on shift
- Preparation and execution of meals in accordance with quality & presentation standards
- Ensuring stock is handled & stored in accordance to OH&S guidelines
- Service excellence around all aspects of the dining experience
- Strong and positive communication with front of house team
- Mentoring and guiding more junior team members
