PRIMARY OBJECTIVE
Power and Water’s Gas Services is responsible for the management of all natural gas related arrangements, which primarily involves gas
acquisition and transportation contracts between Power and Water, gas suppliers and gas pipeline companies. The Gas Asset Manager is integral in
delivering new gas infrastructure projects and ensuring that assets are maintained in accordance with relevant regulatory obligations. This position
provides technical advice to the commercial team while also being a key interface with third party asset owners and operators who transport
Power and Water gas. A candidate for this position should have extensive knowledge and experience specific to the design and operation of gas
pipelines and the regulatory and safety requirements of the Oil and Gas industry.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
The “WHAT” to be delivered
- Ensure Power and Water meets its Regulatory and Statutory pipeline licence obligations in accordance with industry regulations, Australian
- Develop a Power and Water Asset Management Strategy for Power and Water owned gas infrastructure and in line with Power and Water’s
O&M Agreements.
- Involved in all aspects of lease administration, title verification, deed/contract interpretation and preparation, domicile and ancillary probate
- Provide leadership and coordination in the delivery of operational and maintenance services in accordance with established and new
- Coordinate the development of new Operation and Maintenance specifications and agreements to service for procurement and
- Vendor management of outsourced maintenance agreements and contractors.
- Provide overall support to Gas Services team for operating assets, including interfacing with various work streams such as performance
