PRIMARY OBJECTIVE
The Principal Asset Strategy Management supports the uplift and alignment of asset management practices across Power and Water.
The role provides strategic direction for Power and Water asset management and works with lines of business to monitor asset management
system performance, ensuring alignment with PWC strategic objectives, ISO55000 and industry best practice.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
The “WHAT” to be delivered
- Maintain the Strategic Asset Management System Management Standard and Asset Management Policy
- Develop asset management objectives that are aligned to corporate objectives
- Define the structure and cadence of key asset management artefacts such as Asset Management Plans
- Work with stakeholders to develop and implement centralised asset management practices, processes and procedures that are aligned with
- Develop risk-based asset investment decision-making processes which enable a centralised view of target, forecast and actual risk
- Monitor asset management system performance using appropriate KPIs and reporting
- Drive and embed asset management culture, including provision or acquisition of training
- Identify and support continuous improvement and asset management maturity initiatives
- Support internal and external audit processes

Qualification and Skills Experience
Essential • Mandatory minimum 3- or 4-year Science or • Extensive experience in a strategic asset management
Engineering degree recognised in Australia. role in a utility or similar environment
