Position Summary
Reporting to the Marketing and Digital Director, the Graphic Designer will be responsible for developing visually compelling and brand-aligned creative assets for use across digital and print platforms. This role will collaborate closely with the marketing and retail teams to enhance brand presence, support trade campaigns, and elevate customer engagement through exceptional design. The Graphic Designer will play a pivotal role in maintaining Kennedy’s visual identity, ensuring a consistent and luxurious aesthetic across all brand touchpoints.
Key Responsibilities include but not limited to:
Creative Design & Brand Development
- Design and develop high-quality creative assets, including social media graphics, website content, email marketing visuals, in-store signage, advertising materials, and product brochures.
- Ensure brand consistency across all visual communication materials, adhering to Kennedy’s luxury brand positioning.
- Conceptualise and execute creative assets for marketing campaigns, new product launches, and promotional materials.
- Work closely with the marketing team to bring creative ideas to life that align with brand objectives.
- Assist in the evolution of Kennedy’s visual identity, keeping designs fresh, innovative, and aligned with luxury industry trends.
Digital & Print Design
- Create digital content optimised for social media, ad units, website, and email marketing campaigns with a focus on CX.
- Design and prepare print-ready files for marketing materials, including catalogues, lookbooks, and POS collateral.
- Collaborate with external vendors, printers, and agencies to ensure the highest quality production of design assets.
Content & Visual Storytelling
- Support the creation of engaging content that enhances storytelling and resonates with Kennedy’s target audience.
- Assist in photography selection, retouching, and image editing for use across various platforms where required.
- Design presentations and visual reports for internal and external use.
Collaboration & Stakeholder Engagement
- Work closely with internal teams, including marketing, retail, and product teams, to ensure design assets meet business needs.
- Liaise with external agencies, photographers, and videographers to support projects if required.
- Support the wider marketing team with creative solutions for brand partner initiatives, activations, and events.
Trend & Industry Awareness
- Stay up to date with design trends, luxury branding, and digital marketing best practices.
- Research competitor brands and industry trends to ensure Kennedy remains at the forefront of visual design in the luxury retail space.
Qualifications, Skills & Experience
- Demonstrated, similar experience with a portfolio showcasing work within a fast-paced environment for a retail luxury or fashion brand
- Tertiary qualifications in graphic design, visual communications or related field.
- Possess either an agency side background, client/business side background or both.
- Proficient in industry-standard design software such as Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign).
- Proficient in Figma and Klaviyo for all email marketing creation and upload
- Strong understanding of design principles, typography, and color theory.
- Strong commercial acumen with experience in budget management.
- IT capabilities across Office 365, particularly designing presentations, Excel, budget management and marketing related online platforms and databases.
