The Role
The successful person will become a member of a hardworking and committed team.
You will be responsible for:
- Monitor mining systems, identify areas for improvement, and implement changes
- Support the Team Lead in developing and implementing maintenance plans for Operational Technology (OT) systems.
- Review and enhance in-pit communication infrastructure for full coverage
- Support CAS integration with Murrin Murrin operations
- Monitor and respond to network and system incidents, ensuring OT security
- Liaise with IT to protect systems and data, managing OT system requirements
- Conduct maintenance, troubleshooting, and improvements for OT systems, including collision avoidance
- Collaborate with third-party providers and support change management processes

About You
This role would suit a proficient systems specialist. You will also have:
- Tertiary qualification in STEM discipline.
- WA 'C' class driver's licence
- Proficiency in Wi-Fi mesh networks, RF, and collision avoidance technologies (preferred)
- Experience with mobile equipment and technology systems (heavy or light vehicles)
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
- Knowledge of or willingness to learn OT and communication systems
- Exceptional computer skills, including integrated management systems and office applications
- Computer skills aligned with required technical knowledge
