Description:

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee daily warehouse operations, including inventory management, storage, and distribution.
  • Lead and supervise warehouse staff, ensuring productivity, safety, and compliance with company policies.
  • Optimise warehouse layout and processes to improve efficiency and reduce costs.
  • Coordinate with production, logistics, and supply chain teams to meet operational demands.
  • Implement and maintain health, safety, and regulatory compliance standards.
  • Monitor inventory levels, conduct audits, and ensure accurate record-keeping.
  • Manage inbound and outbound shipments, ensuring timely delivery and minimising delays.
  • Utilise warehouse management systems (WMS) and other technology to streamline operations.
  • Develop and enforce best practices for handling materials, equipment, and hazardous goods if applicable.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements and cost savings.

Requirements:

  • Experienced Leader: Proven experience in warehouse management, logistics, or supply chain operations, ideally in an industrial manufacturing environment.
  • Strong Communicator: Effective leadership and communication skills to manage teams and collaborate across departments.
  • Detail-Oriented & Organised: Ability to oversee inventory, optimise workflows, and ensure accuracy in record-keeping.
  • Problem-Solver: Skilled in troubleshooting operational challenges and implementing process improvements.
  • Tech-Savvy: Familiar with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and other logistics technology.
  • Safety-Focused: Knowledge of workplace safety regulations and best practices.
  • Adaptable & Proactive: Capable of working in a fast-paced environment while driving efficiency and continuous improvement.
