Fixed- term | Full-Time at 1.0FTE Higher Education Officer Level 5 | $80,405 - $88,737 p.a. Location: Bedford Park / Kaurna Country View Position Description

About the Role

This Entry Level Role will suit if you are looking for a lateral move into a People and Culture (P&C) environment, from an administrative customer service-based role.

Working within the P&C Team, the Recruitment Officer reports to a Recruitment Advisor and supports end-to-end recruitment campaigns and activities for Hiring Managers aligned to client groups.

Playing a key role in supporting the administrative aspects of the Recruitment team, the Recruitment Officer is responsible for ensuring that data is maintained and updated regularly. This includes the generation of employment agreements, tracking compliance documents, updating tracking spreadsheets and ensuing the CRM is up to date. Other duties include:

Draft job ads and post them to internal and external platforms. Collate and distribute candidate applications to Hiring Managers. Triage and respond to general recruitment enquiries from Hiring Managers via phone and email. Collaborate with the Recruitment Team on recruitment projects and business improvement activities.

Ideally, you will have previous experience in a similar recruitment support or customer liaison role, work well with HR/CRM software, have exemplary attention to detail and can prioritise multiple deadlines easily.

Exposure to Workday or other HRIS/Recruitment platforms is desirable.

Prescribed Conditions for Employment

A valid National Police Certificate which is satisfactory to the University will also be required before the successful applicant can commence in this position.

How to Apply and Information

Experience in similar position and / or a customer service environment, including but not limited to Reception, Retails, Hospitality. Exposure to a high volume environment requiring multitasking, varying communication channels and service timeline commitments Experience working with automated processes and software in an administration role/environment.
