As they have continued enormous growth throughout all economic conditions, this client is seeking an experienced Site Manger with Civil experience to coordinate activities on-site.
THE ROLE
As the business is prosperous and thriving with a healthy pipeline well into 2027, our client has turned to the local market to find a savvy and commercial Site Engineer with two plus year experience in the Civil arena
This Site Engineers’ primary focus is to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget whilst working to surpass industry standards.
You are enthusiastic to produce high class projects working for T1 clients, you want to consultant and engage with the senior management team, raising standards, and are able run a deep dive on current procedures, always encouraging improvement for the business and the client

• You will work closely with the Design team and Site Supervisors before projects commence on site,
• You thrive on identifying project variances, you anticipate needs and delays ahead of time.
• You confidently provide alternative solutions to minimise negative impacts to clients and the business.
• Your eye for detail will give you a pivotal role in the preparation and maintenance of corporate and project specific documentation.
• You champion the planning of moving large amounts of soil and rock for civil engineering projects.
• Manage crucial site preparation, land development, for excavation tasks by creating a stable base and redistributing materials across a construction area.
• Designing and executing demolition plans, ensuring compliance with local and Industry building codes, while overseeing the work of demolition crews.
• You will have a thorough understanding of the intent and function of the safety, environmental and quality management systems and assist in implementation accordingly
• Your experience in statutory reporting will provide accurate weekly and monthly reports.

THE ESSENTIALS

• Tertiary Qualification / Bachelor's Degree in Engineering
• Demonstrated civil construction industry experience
• You will be a standout candidate if you have experience with Demolition and/or Bulk Earthworks
• Strong technical leadership and project oversight
• Contractually savvy
• Ability to work collaboratively, and use initiative to handle and resolve challenges
• Ability to understand client needs, manage moving priorities and keep all stakeholders up to date
• Excellent communication skills – this role needs to integrate with site teams to ensure a seamless flow from concept and design to project delivery
