As a Business Development Manager, you will:
- Hunt for new business and grow existing client relationships
- Work with engineering firms, mines, and quarries to sell conveyor system solutions
- Use your technical knowledge (ideally mechanical engineering or similar) to have meaningful conversations with customers
- Travel regularly to meet with clients and drive sales
- Prepare quotes and proposals (Excel skills required)
- A sales hunter – proactive and thrives on winning new business
- Someone technically minded – ideally with a mechanical engineering background
- A strong relationship builder – confident meeting with senior stakeholders
- Comfortable with frequent travel – both within Australia and occasionally overseas
