New opportunity as Assistant Property Manager working for one of Australia's leading real estate groups, specialising in the ownership, management, and development of premium commercial and retail buildings.

As the Assistant Property Manager, you will support and work with an existing property team at a well known iconic retail and commercial precinct in Melbourne's CBD. This is a fantastic opportunity to develop your property management skills or potentially step into your dream role which could kickstart your career.
Key Responsibilities
- Delivery of accurate property management reports
- Build strong and trusting business relationships with internal and external stakeholders
- Assist the Property Management team to properly document negotiated outcomes
- Undertake regular inspections of the precinct in conjunction with the Facilities Management team
- Administer leases and ensure charges and receipts are processed accurately and on time
- Assist with arrears management including preparation of arrears reports, sending out arrears notices and following up with tenants (both written and verbally)
- Ensure all in-system tenant records are complete and accurate
- General administration tasks for the Property Management team including but not limited to maintaining the property filing system, mail merge database, registers and plans.
- Assist the Retail Manager with the monthly collection and reporting of sales data.
- Other ad hoc tasks
Ideal candidate will display :
- Min 2-3 years' experience in property management or shopping centre retail management (administration, property management, leasing)
- Must have a strong passion for property management.
- Retail Property experience or commercial property management exposure
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Excellent attitude and commitment to working as part of a team
- Excellent presentation & communication
