Customer Service Officer - Building Supplies ProductsOn Line Recruitment is seeking a Customer Service Officer for a leading manufacturer of high-end building products.
This full-time role is based in South Nowra and is ideal for a customer-focused, self-motivated individual who thrives in a fast-paced business-to-business (B2B) environment . You will be the primary point of contact for customers, handling product inquiries, quotes, orders, and deliveries while ensuring an exceptional customer experience.
Key Responsibilities:- Respond professionally to customer inquiries
- Handle product, pricing, and availability queries
- Process and manage quotes and orders
- Provide pricing and delivery information
- Resolve customer requests and coordinate with internal teams
- Liaise with customers, suppliers, and area sales representatives
- Work closely with freight companies to ensure timely deliveries
- Follow up on outstanding quotes and inquiries
- Experience in customer service (preferably in building or plumbing products)
- Strong technical aptitude and an interest in specialised products
- Ability to read and interpret technical specifications and engineering drawings
- High-level organisational skills and multitasking ability
- Excellent communication skills and a customer-focused attitude
- A proactive mindset with strong problem-solving skills
- Strong attention to detail and accurate data entry skills
- Proficiency in computer systems and a willingness to learn new software
