- Ongoing, part-time role (3 days per week)
- PoV 3.1, $74,580 - $82,571 (pro rata)
The Parliamentary Administration Act 2005 and the Parliamentary Officers (Non-Executive Staff – Victoria) Single Enterprise Agreement will be revised during 2025 and is a nexus agreement to the Victorian Public Sector Enterprise Agreement. It is anticipated that the revised salary range for Grade 3.1 will be $76,817 to $85,048.
About the role
Our Building & Grounds team are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Turf specialist with strong horticultural knowledge and a commitment to maintaining high standards of turf care. Key duties include:
- Turf Maintenance: Carrying out all aspects of turf maintenance including bowling green preparation, irrigation repairs and maintenance and ongoing improvement to all turf surfaces. Ensuring high standards of playing surfaces and lawn areas.
- Pest, Weed, and Disease Control: Ensuring effective control of pests, weeds, and diseases in turf surfaces through the safe and appropriate application of chemical sprays where appropriate.
- Health, Safety, and Compliance: Understanding and complying with all health, safety, and risk management policies and procedures, ensuring personal actions do not impact the health and safety of others, and keep updated with relevant legislation and regulations.
- The role will include assisting in the garden at times and regular site preparation for functions.

Essential Skills:
- Proficiency in turf maintenance, and irrigation systems.
- Experience in the safe application of chemical sprays for effective pest, weed, and disease control.
- Strong understanding of health, safety, and risk management policies and procedures.
