The Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists (RANZCOG) is the leading standards body responsible for the training and education of specialists and GP obstetricians in obstetrics and gynaecology in Australia and New Zealand.
RANZCOG is committed to the establishment and maintenance of the highest possible standards of practice in women's health and provides programs in training, accreditation and continuing professional development (CPD) that are responsive to the evolving health care needs of women.

Te Whiwhinga Mahi | The Opportunity
We are looking for an administrator with strong interpersonal and stakeholder management skills. You will be responsible for administrative support of the Women's Health Committee, Endoscopic Surgery Advisory Committee. You will assist the Chairs and working party members to progress activities out of session, including fielding enquiries, co-ordinating correspondence, as well as setting up meetings and agendas, taking minutes and following up on actions.
This is a part time (30 hours per week), permanent position.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide administrative support for the Women’s Health Committee, Endoscopic Surgery Advisory Committee and other working parties and committees within the research and policy business unit.
- Administer all Committee reporting and approval requirements through to board and council.
- Support the publication of Women’s Health Committee newsletters and new/updated RANZCOG guidelines, and consumer information on the College’s intranet/website.
- Provide administrative support in responding to Women’s Health Inbox queries with guidance from the Research and Policy team and Dean of Research and Policy.
- Support with any other duties as requested by the Research and Policy Manager.
This role requires some out of hours work to attend evening committee meetings (which may be virtual or face to face). The College offers time off in lieu and flexible working arrangements at times when out of hours work is required.

The ideal candidate will have:
- Experience in committee coordination, including demonstrated experience in meeting coordination and records (minute taking).
- Well-developed interpersonal skills and the ability to liaise and communicate effectively with a wide variety of stakeholders, individuals, and groups.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively and share information with colleagues and key stakeholders.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to prepare accurate meeting agendas and minutes and draft correspondence and reports.
- Excellent planning and organisational skills, including the ability to effectively handle conflicting priorities, establish timeframes and meet deadlines.
- High level computer literacy including Microsoft Office suite of products.
- An interest in, and commitment to, issues concerning women’s health is an advantage.
