Duty Manager: Full Time Position

Seeking applicants with a strong professional work ethic, along with a positive can-do outlook who can demonstrate a high standard of customer service and a clear understanding of RSA Requirements.
With a commitment to providing a Rich Customer Experience, you will be a motivated and friendly team player able to adapt to the requirements of the business. With flexible availability, you will be required to work rostered shifts, including nights.
Tasks and Responsibilities:
- Supervise and provide leadership to hotel staff, including training and development to maintain high standards of service.
- Lead by example, fostering a positive and motivated team environment.
- Manage daily cash handling duties, including reconciling cash registers, ensuring accurate record-keeping, and preparing daily cash reports.
- Handle Gaming, Keno and TAB banking, ensuring all cash flows are accurately recorded and transactions are completed in compliance with industry regulations.
- Address guest complaints or concerns promptly and professionally, resolving any issues to the guest’s satisfaction.
- Ensure the hotel’s facilities and amenities are maintained at the highest standard for guest use.
- Ensure compliance with all legal and safety requirements, including licensing laws, health and safety regulations, and operational procedures.
Skills and Experience:
- Previous experience within the hotel industry
- A hands on work style and happily get your hands dirty
- Experience in opening and closing venues
- Be highly organised and have the ability to develop and maintain systems and procedures
- Ability to work under pressure
- Fit in with the hard working culture of our strong bar/gaming attendants by supporting them with their roles and responsibilities
- Gaming and TAB/Keno experience
- RSG and RSA cards
