About The Role
Fixed Term Full Time until 11 April 2026$92,535 per annum + 11.5% superannuationFlexible working arrangements available
We are seeking an enthusiastic and self-motivated person who is interested in a position providing front line planning support to the South Gippsland community.
A great opportunity exists within our Planning and Building Services Department for a customer focussed professional to act as the primary contact for customer planning enquiries. This role provides leadership to administrative staff and holds a key role in the Better Approvals Program to support South Gippsland businesses. It also provides a high standard of service delivery in the entire range of planning services and provides support to the wider department.
About You
To be successful, you will have:
A tertiary degree in Town and/or Regional Planning or similarExperience in a Customer Service or similar roleHigh level communication skillsAbility to supervise and coordinate staffExcellent problem solving and analytical skillsKnowledge of the Victoria Planning SystemAppreciation and understanding of the development issues affecting South Gippsland Shire
