The role
Reporting to the Operations Manager and with a focus on Renewable Solar Products you will be responsible for ensuring that service and stock levels are optimised across our Regional Fulfilment Centres throughout Australia to support our strong growth in this dynamic, exciting, and fast- growing market segment.
What you would do
- Forecast Future demand by utilising planning tools and Sales Team inputs.
- Plan and place International and local purchase orders with suppliers.
- Follow up and maintain up to date ETA’s in line with supplier production and shipping schedules.
- Predict potential Stocks outs and take action to stop gap via alternative supply sources were possible.
How can I tell if this is for me?
- Previous professional experience in similar inventory management or a planning role
- Previous experience in International Purchasing.
- Intermediate to advanced excel/ MS Office
- Exposure to Infor M3, Slim4 or other IMS desirable
- You are detailed, systematic and organised
- Strong interpersonal skills and an ability to engage at all levels of the organisation, particularly front-line staff
- Ability to manage conflicting deadlines and time effectively
- You thrive in a fast paced and ever changing environment
- Solar industry and product knowledge highly regarded
