Guardian Safety is proudly a 50 year old + family owned business based in Smithfield with a national presence. We are seeking to appoint an experienced Regional Manager for immediate commencement.
The Role
Reporting to the National Sales Manager the Sydney based Regional Manager will be responsible for managing the NSW/ACT customer base.
Duties and responsibilities include:
- To fully promote the entire Guardian Safety product range
- To routinely call on existing and potential customers within the allocated regions on an agreed Call Cycle
- Develop and drive new business opportunities through joint distributor calls
- Develop and drive new business opportunities through end user calls & ‘pull through’ via a preferred distributor
- Prepare target marketing programs for existing and potential customer
- To provide technical training and support to our major customers
- Attending trade shows and promotional functions as required
- Solution based selling by investigating and resolving customer problems
- Providing feedback on the market and competitors
- Regular formal reviews of major customers' sales performance
- Commitment to regional travel is required and one week per month may be taken as a guide
- Customer Service support at Smithfield Office as required

Skills & Experience
- Australian Drivers License
- Minimum of 5 years experience working in a similar role with technical industrial products in a distributor/end user environment.
- Ability to digest and promote technical safety products
- Basic/lntermediate MicroSoft Office skills
- Disciplined to work from a home office environment base
- Self Motivating and a great Team Player
- Amazing communication and customer service skills
Remuneration
Salary - $105,000 PA Negotiable based on skills & experience
Vehicle - Fully maintained company car provided
