About the Team:
The Department of Customer Service (DCS) is a service provider, regulator and central agency of government. An opportunity has become available to join the team in Subsidence Advisory NSW for a Manager Subsidence Evaluation & Regulation. Subsidence Advisory NSW is an energetic team supporting property owners living in areas where subsidence may occur. This role will see you apply your managerial, project management and technical skills within a small team of specialists leading the technical division.
About the role:You will lead and manage a team of engineers and mapping experts in their assessment of subsidence matters across NSW. This role involves regulating the mine subsidence function in processing development applications and conditions to ensure compliance and best practice is adhered to.You will also lead projects to rapidly respond to subsidence events and meet both current and future needs of the community.Essential Criteria:Experience in leading and managing a successful team of technical staffStrong project management skillsTertiary qualifications in Structural/Civil/Mining/Geotechnical EngineeringProven experience in engineering, mining, building or constructionFull NSW drivers' license is essentialWhat we need from you:
