Description:

We are working with a high-profile professional services organisation that is looking for a Workday Technical Lead to play a key role in the design, development, and maintenance of our People Systems applications. This role requires a deep understanding of Workday HCM solutions and a strong ability to collaborate with stakeholders to deliver high-quality technical solutions that align with business needs.

What you will be responsible for:Develop comprehensive Workday configurations, integrations, and reporting solutions that align with business objectives.Manage system development processes, including requirements gathering, testing, implementation, and ongoing support.Assess potential technical risks and implement strategies to maintain compliance with architectural and security frameworks.Work closely with business leaders, functional experts, and IT teams to transform business needs into innovative Workday solutions.Lead agile processes, facilitating meetings such as daily stand-ups, sprint planning, demonstrations, and retrospectives.Organize and execute PI (Program Increment) planning sessions in collaboration with cross-functional teams.Offer hands-on technical support, ensuring smooth system operations and troubleshooting issues when required.Identify and implement system improvements to enhance performance, usability, and business efficiency.Establish and maintain best practices for system configuration, testing protocols, and change control processes.Provide technical expertise in implementing and optimizing Workday HCM functionalities, ensuring system reliability and efficiency.Define system architecture strategies and ensure alignment with enterprise technology standards.
Qualifications & Experience:Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related discipline.Minimum of 5 years of experience in Workday HCM technical roles, with deep knowledge of modules such as Absence, Compensation, Talent, and Integrations.Hands-on experience with Workday tools including EIB, RAAS, Connectors, and foundational Workday Studio integrations.Strong project management skills, capable of handling multiple initiatives in a high-paced environment.Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to bridge technical and business discussions effectively.Strong analytical mindset with the ability to diagnose and resolve complex system challenges.Agile approach with adaptability to evolving business needs and priorities.
