With continued growth and strong demand for our services, Interparcel is on the lookout for a Business Development Representative. The primary purpose of this role is to acquire new business opportunities by contacting, developing and nurturing relationships with potential customers. The ideal candidate should have experience in developing leads, meeting sales quotas and possess a passion for growing revenue. You will become a master of the Interparcel platform and work closely with customers to identify their needs and offer the best possible solution.
This is a full time, permanent position located in Mascot, NSW with an abundance of perks including flexible work options, parental leave and more.
Your responsibilities will consist of (but are not limited to):Contact prospective customers through cold/warm calls, emails and social media channelsManage complete sales cycle by tailoring customised shipping solutions for new and existing customersAttend industry events with the focus of driving leadsQualify external leads as sales opportunitiesUnderstand client needs and requirementsBuild rapport and long-term relationships with clientsProactively seek new business opportunitiesStay up-to-date with new products, services and pricing structures
To be successful in your application you will meet the following criteria:Minimum 12 months experience generating leads or sales experience selling SaaS or freight services (preferred but not required)Be a self-motivated individual with the ability to identify opportunities for the businessHave exceptional time management & prioritisation skillsBe positive, driven and a team playerDemonstrate confidence in the value Interparcel provides and its difference against its competitors in the industryExperience in managing a sales pipelineConfident and effective communication skillsMust hold permanent residency or an unrestricted work permit to be considered for this role
