Our Australian Defence Infrastructure & Advisory (DIA) team is a growing Business Line of 220 dedicated professionals. Bringing together our expertise across engineering, systems engineering and project management, our aim is to understand our clients and deliver innovative technical solutions to solve their problems.

The Opportunity

We are looking for a proactive individual with a strong track record in business administration to join our Sydney office. You will support the Defence Infrastructure & Advisory business by providing key administrative support to team members across our offices in Canberra, Sydney, Melbourne, Adelaide and Brisbane.

As an integral member of our team, you will be the go-to person for various operational support tasks. You should have commercial business acumen, understand the importance of meeting deadlines, and provide quality outputs and service. To succeed in this role, you need to be highly organized, a clear and confident communicator, and committed to providing professional and quality support.

  • Provide administrative support for the DIA team and Operations Manager, focusing on weekly and monthly reporting, meeting coordination, documentation preparation, and information gathering.
  • Support management with proposal preparation, management, and quality reports.
  • Coordinate staff inductions, timesheets, invoice coordination, training, and quality compliance.
  • Assist with project and opportunity tracking and resource planning.
  • Be part of a national Business Administration team and provide backup support to team members in other locations as needed.

We seek someone with drive, energy, excellent interpersonal skills, and enthusiasm. Previous experience working in a team environment is essential, along with the ability to manage multiple tasks. Advanced skills in MS Office applications, high-level organization, and time management skills are crucial. Excellent communication skills and the ability to understand and learn administrative support requirements within a technical environment are highly desirable.
